These work pretty well, I ordered these to use with infrared panel heaters inside my flat. Really easy to set up, I didn't need the instructions to do this. I've had to play around with where to put the probe in relation to the panel heater as there was no information about this in the instructions. This took some time to work out. Result: I've found that approx 30cm away from the infrared panel seems to be about right. The probe will pick up when the room is above the temperature you've set and switch the heat source off.

This unit works really well - I little more pricey than a couple of others on here, but reviews were solid and the item is a quality unit. Easy to set up and seems accurate based on an digital thermometer used to compare. External probes is replaceable too.

very solid kit. used only for controlling 2 180w heters in a 1m x 2m grow tent. If i can turn alarm off, its loud, i'll use it next run controllling extractor as well.. if not its just using "dumb" fan with a non alarm fan speed controller. A decent one.

Well we wanted to like this to automate a small radiator but the instructions and set up are overly fiddly and in the end we kind of gave up. It does have a specific role and is not a general "smart" extension and it is not the fault of the product itself. Its Just the instructions could be better explained and laid out so there easier to follow, however once done your set and would only need to change them if you changed what you want to do with the extension.
