Bought this as my house is pretty cool(temp) and I wanted to raise the temp of the brewing dastardly ginger wine. Blimey works a treat, easy to set up, start low and boost it slowly keep an eye on temp with one of the lcd thermometers and you'll be good. I did only get one lcd thermometer with mine not two. 😢😢

Item arrived on time and as decribed. This heat belt is easy to use and provides basic temperature control for your brewing vessel. It looks reasonably well made but I have no way of predicting how long it will last. The heat output of the belt can be varied by using the control knob and you can also rise or lower the belt around the vessel to alter brewing temperature. However, as there is no closed loop temperature controller, once you have set the device up, there is no compensation for big changes in ambient temperature (eg in winter when house heating may be on during the day and off at night). For better control, the belt could easily be combined with a separate temperature controller c/w temperature sensor.

This thing has saved so much hassle. Being able to fit it on to the resin tank means can happily print even when it’s really cold which is great for this time of year. Works great and can adjust the temp using the dial. The only downside is the plastic lid doesn’t fit when it’s on but that’s not a fault of this product. Would definitely recommend if you’ve been getting failed prints due to the temperature

The temperature switch only turns on at the third dot and cannot go lower. This means that once my Kombucha reaches ideal warmth I cannot maintain a lower temperature for fermenting. It is too hot.

Questa fascia l'ho usata nelle giornate molto fredde, messa intorno al contenitore dove preparo il kombucha. La fascia arriva con due termometri adesivi. Bisogna fare un po' di attenzione alla temperatura, la fascia può essere un po' troppo calda anche messa ad una temperatura minima, ma basta metterla intorno al contenitore ma che non tocchi troppo il recipiente, controllando il termometro si nota che la fascia scalda ma non troppo.
