I am totally new to this and didn't find the book all that helpful. Chapter 1 is a brief intro to the history of beer and useful terms. Chapter 2 then dives straight into fermentation. Hasn't a stage been missed out? What about mashing grains? All in all I didn't find the book all that useful even though it's an okay read. I got the Kindle version for a few quid which is fine, but the print version definitely isn't worth it in my opinion.

As a new beer brewer, this book was very insightful regarding the process of brewing beer, the different types of barleys, hops and yeasts, and when, why and how to use them. Great book.
