Great beer kit!! Easy to make, and a top quality great tasting beer at the end! I did the initial fermentation for 8 days slightly longer than recommended, and then after 2 and a half weeks the beer had cleared up really well in my pressure barrel which I kept in the garage at around 15 deg.

This is a two can, all malt kit that makes an absolutely magnificent pint. The problem is that it's too good and I polished off a keg in a week! As good as any cask ale from a pub and at 70p a pint it's a no-brainier for me.

I have bought this beer three times and each time it has been excellent. Easy to brew, everything premixed for you, just add water and leave.

Must admit, Woodforde's make great kits, i prefer the smaller kits, 24, and 32 pints as against a 40 pint ones. As i have previously said in other reviews, these kits are streets ahead of what i made in the dark and distant past. This one 'Admirals Reserve' has a nice long lasting taste, which is very 'Hoppy' the head stays as well. I left it to clear for approx 21 days, but did take a sample at around 14 days, when it was good, but i thought the exra week gave it a clearer look, and tasted better, needless to say, it did'nt hang around much after that !! Great real ale.

Shame it's only 32 pints. But a great tasting beer. Brewed quickly, but very little froth on the top so I assume it's bottom fermenting yeast.

Great tasting brew, my first one I topped up to a 40 pint which weakened it slightly (but there was more of it). Still tasted great. It was done fermenting in about a week and ready to bottle, ABV came out around 5% and tasting the sample (rather than wasting it) at this point it was still a drinkable beer. It's now been bottled for near on 2 months and it's been getting better all the time. That reminds me, I must get the next batch going so it has time to condition before this batch runs out.

Not tried it yet as only just bottled it, however, the instructions were clear and simple. The brew had a nice aroma to it so I have no reason to doubt it will produce a good beer.
